The Wee Whistle Stop Cafe opened in October 2019 at the Loch Torridon Community Hall.
A carry on from Lis Broome's cafe/bistro in Kinlochewe, the Wee Whistle Stop focuses on providing local and seasonal cooking along with creative home bakes in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
Our menu changes regularly, allowing visitors to enjoy different seasonal cooking and as the Centre is fully licensed, why not select a local ale and or have a glass of wine to enjoy with your food.
Situated in the front extension of the hall, the cafe enjoys wonderful panoramic views over beautiful Loch Torridon, allowing diners a feast on the eyes as well as their taste buds

Below is a small selection from the many dishes available from our menu. Why not try one of our hearty breakfasts before you set off on your adventures of the day, or choose a lighter option for lunch. We also serve a varied selection of both vegetarian and vegan dishes. Our menus are adaptable, so should you have any allergies please do let us know.
Two egg, mushroom, feta courgette, sweet onion and fried potato frittata with slice house bread
Pan fried Lambs liver, bacon, 2 fried eggs, with toast
Sauteed thyme mushrooms & wilted spinach on toasted seeded bread
Stack of pancakes, virginia bacon & maple syrup
Sausage, bacon, black pudding, roast tomato, 1 or 2 fried eggs
Light Bites served all day
Thin tart of char-grilled courgettes with pesto, goats cheese, black olives, sweet tomatoes, and a green herb salad
Oven roasted field mushroom with parma ham, spinach melted Taleggio cheese on thyme crunchy bread, drizzled with tarragon oil
Lemon buttermilk chicken, avocado, salsaverde and tomato in a whole meal wrap
Fish finger sandwich with lemon mayo, tartare sauce and thin chips
Roast leek and fennel soup with smoked haddock and a poached egg ,with house bread

Roast Scottish salmon with a herb lemon crust, quinoa, red peppers, chickpeas, spinach, and a cucumber lemon yogurt dressing

Friday Night - Fish Friday - sit-in and takeaways - 5pm - 7pm
The Wee Whistle Stop can also accommodate take-away options for those staying in holiday homes, large party bookings and packed lunches for those walking the hills. Just get in touch.
We will close for the season on the 19th of December, reopening on the 14th of February
