For the Community
The Centre aims to provide a high quality venue for use by the community, visitors and business. It promotes and supports health and fitness, local business, local employment, and tourism. It funds the upkeep of the building and its charitable activities through the commercial provision of a conference and function venue, charging for daily and hourly use of the facilities, fundraising, and charitable donations.
The Centre is owned by the Torridon District Community Association (TDCA) which is a charitable company limited by guarantee (SC350453). The TDCA operates the Centre in accordance with its Articles and Memorandum of Association for the benefit of the local community. The TDCA is a non-profit making organisation and all revenues generated by its day-to-day activities are applied to the upkeep and improvement of its assets and for the general well-being of all those living in the Loch Torridon area.
