Organisers Les and Sheila Bates, have this message about the exhibition,

“It can be a challenge to title an exhibition that holds appeal to a wide range of artists and makers. However, on this occasion the theme came about through linking up with the Mountain and Sea Festival in Torridon 3rd -13th October.  We hope you and festival visitors find the time to call in to the exhibition. The Gallery endeavours to maintain a uniquely local representation of work with new interpretations of our landscape. The quality of artists work, some art school trained and some new to the centre for the exhibition continues to inspire. Call in and share the inspiration.”

Craft Workshop-11

Craft Workshops are held on the second Monday of each month.

There are over 30 ladies attending from all over the area including Gairloch.

Craft Workshop-01

We started out as a patchwork workshop which was so popular it now offers a range of different crafts. These vary on any given day but include: soft furnishing, dressmaking, fabric painting, bags, parchment craft, sugar craft, beadwork, crochet, water colour painting, tile mosaics and any other skill that members of the group want to share.

New members do not need to have any skills at all, only a desire to find out more or share craft knowledge. All materials can be provided free.

The day is extremely sociable and costs just £5 including a delicious lunch.

Holiday makers are very welcome to join us for the day.
